This is the story of Christopher Wren, one of England's greatest architects. One day, he was walking unrecognized among the workers who were building London's St. Paul's Cathedral which he had designed.

"What are you doing?" Wren inquired one of the workmen. The man replied, "I am cutting a piece of stone." As Wren went on, he put the question to another laborer who responded, "I am earning five shillings twopence a day." A third workman answered the same inquiry with, "I am helping Sir Christopher Wren build a beautiful cathedral."

That man had a vision. He could see beyond the cutting of the stone, beyond the earning of his daily wage, to the creation of a work of art - the building of a great cathedral. He had indeed attained the vision of the larger whole and the greater good.

This is the vision with which Jad N. Lahoud and Nazih B. Hardan build their work of art and upon which they have built their company - Lahoud & Hardan Enterprises, inc.

If the truth be known, the roots of Lahoud & Hardan's construction experience, began with cutting stones for old-world cathedrals.

From there, three generations ago, has evolved a New-World company that knows only one way to do things - the way you would want them done, be it a grand manor of epic proportions, a collection of signature estates, surroundings for business and commerce or the renovation of an existing environment.

In each case, Lahoud & Hardan has the necessary background and skills to assess the project, formulate the strategies, assemble a talented team and get the job done.

In today's world, there is a growing demand for high-volume output. As a result, the sense of commitment to high standards are compromised. Lahoud & Hardan will not compromise. Honor, and a handshake bespeak the exception rather than the rule.

Saying, "We're different," "We deliver," or "We promise the highest quality" is the easy part. It's shouted from the rafters daily. However, the difficult part is proving it; putting your money where the mortar is. Lahoud & Hardan proves it the hard way. And they don't need to shout their own praises, their clients do that for them - a refreshing change indeed.
